2. What data we may process
Depending on your relationship with us, we may process identification and contact details; booking information such as equipment, dates, participants, sizes and preferences; communications and comments; billing data and payment status; technical information about browsing, device, IP address or campaign identifiers; and professional data provided by companies, partner shops or suppliers.
Where a payment is made through an external gateway, Ski Renting does not need to store full card details. We only receive the information required to know the status of the transaction and manage the booking.
3. Why we use the data and on what legal basis
- Answering enquiries and requests: to respond and prepare a proposal or possible contract.
- Managing rental bookings: to arrange equipment, dates, collection shop and handover.
- Invoicing and accounting obligations: to comply with applicable rules.
- After-sales support and incidents: to resolve changes, returns or damage to equipment.
- Commercial communications: only with consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
- Site improvement and security: to keep the service running, prevent abuse and analyse how pages are used.
4. Mandatory data
Fields marked as mandatory are those strictly needed to deal with the request. If they are not provided, it may be impossible to process the booking or answer the enquiry.
5. Recipients and suppliers
We do not sell personal data. Our technology and professional suppliers may access it where necessary to provide their services, subject to the corresponding confidentiality and data protection obligations.
To carry out a booking we may share strictly necessary data with the rental shops that hand over the equipment at the chosen destination, in Andorra Esports Pirot, and with other providers included in the request. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities, courts or law enforcement where there is a legal obligation.
6. International transfers
Some technology suppliers may be located outside Andorra. In such cases the safeguards required by Andorran data protection rules apply.
7. Retention
Data is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the applicable statutory limitation periods, in particular accounting and tax ones. Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until you withdraw it.
8. Your rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to info@skirenting.com, stating which right you wish to exercise. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may contact the Andorran Data Protection Agency.
9. Minors
The site is not aimed at minors for contracting purposes. Where a booking includes equipment for minors, the data is provided by the responsible adult, who is accountable for its accuracy.
10. Security and confidentiality
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, and staff and suppliers with access are bound by confidentiality duties.
