1. What this policy covers
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies skirenting.com uses, what they are for and how you can decide about them at any time. It forms part of the privacy policy and the legal notice.
The site is operated by Orgest, a commercial name owned by Sebastian Diaz, identifier F-289640-Y, trade register number 928651 Y. Office: Carrer de les Boigues, s/n, Ed. Pic Blanc, Office 601, AD700 Escaldes-Engordany, Principality of Andorra. Phone: +376 853 791. Email: info@skirenting.com.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. It makes it possible to remember information about your visit: the language you chose, whether you have already accepted a notice, which pages you viewed, or whether you arrived from a particular campaign. Alongside cookies, equivalent technologies are used, such as local browser storage or pixels embedded in a page, and this policy applies to all of them equally.
3. Your choice
The first time you visit you will see a notice where you can accept, reject or configure the cookies that are not strictly necessary. Necessary cookies are always installed, because the site does not work without them. The rest are only installed if you give your consent.
You can change your mind whenever you like from the cookie settings panel on the site, without having to give any explanation. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
4. Which cookies we use
- Necessary. They make the site work: keeping your session, remembering the language, saving your cookie choice and protecting forms against automated submissions. No consent is required.
- Preferences. They remember your settings, such as the language or the destination you were looking at, so you are not asked again.
- Statistics. They tell us, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how people navigate, so we can understand what is useful and fix what is not.
- Advertising. They make it possible to show ads and measure their performance, limit how often you see an ad and assess how effective a campaign is.
5. Third parties present on the site
Some cookies are set by companies providing services within the site. Each of them processes data under its own policy:
- Google (advertising and measurement).
- Meta (campaign measurement).
- Google Maps, to show the location of shops and resorts.
- Google reCAPTCHA, to protect forms against automated submissions.
- Consent manager, which stores what you decided about cookies.
- Content delivery and caching, technical cookies that serve pages faster.
The booking engine is embedded from devmotor.esportspirot.com, operated by Esports Pirot. When you use it, cookies belonging to that domain may be set, which are needed to keep your booking and basket while you complete it.
6. How long they last
Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent ones remain for a period that depends on their purpose: consent cookies are usually kept for up to twelve months, so that the notice is not shown on every visit, and measurement and advertising cookies have their own periods set by each provider. The cookie settings panel on the site shows the up-to-date detail.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Besides the panel on the site, every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its privacy settings. If you block them completely, parts of the site may stop working properly, particularly the booking process. Private browsing is not the same as blocking them: it only prevents them from being kept once you close the window.
8. Applicable rules
The processing of personal data associated with cookies is carried out in accordance with Law 29/2021 of 28 October, qualified law on the protection of personal data of the Principality of Andorra and its implementing rules, following the criteria of the Andorran Data Protection Agency. Cookies that are not strictly necessary require your prior, informed and revocable consent.
9. Your rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to info@skirenting.com. The detail is set out in the privacy policy. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may contact the Andorran Data Protection Agency.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated if the tools used on the site or the applicable rules change. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
